A list I actually like. They picked the right Smashing Pumpkins song, highlighted the fact that in 1994 Weezer was a novelty band and lovesick nerds were not cool, and it all leads up to an inarguable #1. Which I sung at live-band karaoke once, by the way.
I don’t agree with the whole list but #1 (Everlong - Foo Fighters) and #2 (You Got Me - The Roots) are absolutely correct. Though the acoustic version of Everlong is better than the original.
